Haiku

haiku is a Japanese lyric verse form having three unrhymed lines, no more than 17 syllables arranged in 3 lines of 5-7-5 syllables but reads smoothly (or said without taking a breath). Pictures an experience of awe or sudden insight, traditionally invoking an aspect of nature or the seasons.

#Haiku poetry originated in the sixteenth century.
