Simple act of care

Time doesn’t wait for anyone, moments pass too quickly to ignore chances to connect and spend quality time with your loved ones. One thing that stands correct is that true happiness comes when you share it with your family. Good or bad, stormy or calm sea, things get better with surrounding love. With inevitably changing environment one thing that stays constant is the presence of our loved ones, our family. When we feel like drowning under pressure our loved ones never leave our hand and keeps us afloat, they become the tremendous source of energy giving us the strength to fight the dark clouds and let the bright sun shine upon us. When we are riding success then the happiness doubles with the presence of our family. The bond that a family shares is always much stronger, ever stronger than a covalent bond ( for non-geeks : covalent bond is the strongest form of chemical bond ). Truth be told

The most common word that is the least common thing is “Truth”. We can run around the world and this fact will not change.

Even the famous theory of evolution by Charles Darwin could be a hoax & Albert Einstein failing mathematics is a big lie. Lie, in fact, is so common that it has become the natural spontaneous tendency of almost every human being, it is deeply embedded in our subconscious system as a result of evolution, here evolution means surviving because of lies, many times we are told that in this century those who doesn’t have a knack to deceive are often eaten up by the large fishes who survived because of lies thus multiplying liars. And the most interesting factor is that we are always told that lying is wrong, they condemn lying verbally but the same society more than often reward lies and that creates the evolution. But how long can this continue? because with time truth always reveals itself and fake/lies fades away.

Zest up my life

Zest is the secret of all beauty. There is no beauty that is attractive without zest.

Christian Dior

Recalling those childhood days when I used to meet each day with ardent exuberance, my eyes used to twinkle with delight and feet used to tap as I hum the happy jingles of life, I realize that I still have that child inside me alive, I still greet each day with a smile, seek for adventure, look at the bright side of situations, for I live with enthusiasm for my passion with passion. Zestfulness is not situational but it’s a lifestyle and adopting it will unleash the hidden child in you whose eyes can see beyond the mundane masks and mind can fathom the real beauty as it won’t be clouded.

People wonder if the zest of life is related to age as it is envisaged to be, I simply refuse to accept that. However, no matter how exuberant one is, needs take onto them hijacking the front seat. Life indeed is not a magical carnival and we have to work hard to achieve certain goals in life, we race to outshine others, we race to attain perfection, we race to race and in this race we struggle and take a lot of stress and lose the beauty of life. So, what do I do? Simple, I keep adding a little zest to my life and have a beautiful meaning to it. I Create those magical moments which makes me more lively, more enthusiastic, makes me want to breath some more and more.

How do I zest up my life : Continue reading “Zest up my life”

All About Consumer Rights and the Consumer court

Consumer Rights :

On March 15, 1962, US President John F Kennedy made a historical speech about consumer rights as he introduced ‘The Consumer Bill of Rights’ in the US Congress. Ever since, countries all over the world have celebrated March 15 as the Consumers’ Day.
In India, Consumer Protection Act, 1986 was enacted on December 24 by the Indian Parliament. So Dec 24th is celebrated as the National Consumer Day.

Even though strong and clear laws exist in India to protect consumer rights, The real condition of  Indian consumers could be declared as completely dismal. Very few consumers know their rights or understand their basic consumer rights. And many of them are scared of approaching the judiciary. It is important, as consumers, we know our basic rights and about the courts and procedures that deals with the infringement of our rights.

Who is a Consumer (definition):

A person who purchases goods and services for personal use.
☛ Any person who buys or hires any goods or services for a consideration which has been paid or promised or partly paid and partly promised for personal use not for manufacture or resale. A consumer is someone who can make the decision whether or not to purchase an item at the store, and someone who can be influenced by marketing and advertisements.

Explanation— “commercial purpose” does not include use by a person of goods bought and used by him and services availed by him exclusively for the purposes of earning his livelihood by means of self-employment.

Example: If A person X buys a printer and at home X use the printer for printing for livelihood then he comes under consumer category. But if person X buys more printers and opens a printing press then it’ll be commercial and cannot avail the benefits of  Consumer Protection Act of 1986 and National Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission.

☛Consumer Rights In India:

Under the Consumer Protection Act of 1986, the rights of consumers in India can be listed as under: Continue reading “All About Consumer Rights and the Consumer court”
